Water Management

Water is something we keep clean. Every drop we use in our creation process is treated. Our state-of-the-art dyeing machines help us optimize how much water we use, and they go through routine checks and strict maintenance so they always run as efficiently as they should.

Energy Management

We put electric energy to efficient use through our rational use plan, which has let us cut our energy consumption by 10% over the years. Our factory runs on hydroelectric energy. A set of solar panels generates electric energy from sunlight alone. Our plan is to raise our renewable energy to 15% in the coming years.

Air Quality

We burn clean fuel and hold our state-of-the-art machinery in optimal condition so volatile organic compounds stay out of our emissions, leaving them 100% free of particulates that harm the environment. Clean air matters to us, because our local community deserves to breathe easy.

Eco-Friendly Materials

“Reduce, reuse, recycle” is something we take to heart. We are a slow-fashion brand making pieces built to last, not to be tossed out after a single wear. Our stores hand out recyclable paper bags instead of plastic ones, and the tags on our products are recyclable paper too. Our products are packaged in corn-based, compostable bags. Reusing materials whenever we can is part of how we work. Some of our garments are made with eco-friendly materials, and we intend to grow the number of eco-friendly products in the coming years.

How we reduce scrap fabric

Leftover fabric from our cutting rooms is turned into new products, handed over to a partner that transforms it into fresh raw material, or delivered to a company that presses it into briquettes used in cement kilns.

How we reduce waste in our manufacturingfacilities

Inside our plants, teams work with reusable drawers and organizers built from leftover fabric and other discarded material. In our distribution center, durable plastic crates replace cardboard boxes for storing and moving garments.

How we save plastic

Switching our garments to smaller blister packs trimmed an additional 5.5 tons of plastic every year. Altogether we now use 66.5 tons less plastic per year, and the plan for the years ahead is to cut another 38 tons by dropping plastic garment bags for good. Some pieces, such as our swimwear, are also made from recycled plastic bottles.
